3 Underrated Netflix Shows to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

For the second weekend of the month, Netflix’s most popular programs include very different series that have almost nothing in common to each other.

But that also illustrates the strength of Netflix programming, where only a South African revenge thriller can become one of the 10 best shows worldwide.

The Watch With US team has gathered our options for the three underestimated programs to see this weekend.

This week’s selections include an emotionally moving update of a classic novel for young adults, the second season of a Netflix original and a horror show on AMC loan.

If you have ever read Judy Blume1975 novel already ForeverThen you could get the yeast of this recently launched Netflix series. But Blume’s beloved novel has been completely reimagined by Showrunner Mara Brock Akil In a modern love story between two black teenagers, Justin Edwards (Michael Cooper Jr.) and Keisha Clark (Lovie Simone).

Justine and Keisha come from love houses, and both are high school athletes with brilliant futures. They also feel the weight of the relentless pressure to meet the expectations that have placed their legs. It is difficult for Keisha and Justin to discover what they really have with their lives when they have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Sometimes, those external pressures are far away from each other. But they always seem to find their way back, as well as the end of the threat high school with an end to its flourishing romance.
