The Vatican announced on Monday a start date for the conclave to choose a successor to the late Pope Francis Francisco.
On Wednesday, May 7, it has been confirmed as the starting point for the open ritual elections to decide who will happen to Francis after his 12 -year -old papacy.
It will be a hero in the Sistine Chapel of the Apostolic Palace in the city of the Vatican.
AP reports that the date of the conclave was head of the Cardinals Agenda who celebrated informal meetings to resolve the Church’s businesses after the death of Pope Francis of April 21.
Heroes when announcing the opening of the conclave until after its funeral on Saturday, AP proposed in its report.
The Vatican said that more than 180 participated in the fifth informal meeting in Rome on Monday, while the smallest 135 group, known as the Cardinals College, is eligible to choose a new Pope.
Only cardinals under 80 are eligible to vote, and it is not clear how many of the 135 will participate.

Communication with the outside world is not allowed for the duration of the process. The vote itself is secret and Gregory XV introduced it in 1621 to try to avoid manifest policy.
The term conclave comes from the Latin phrase Cum keyWhich means “with a key.”
The papal succession has evolved considerably since the primitive Church and the current rules of this procedure were not coded until the early twentieth century.
