On Monday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated that because of the time it took to correct the inaccurate records they received from the Biden administration, “we are just taking a step forward to go after the worst of the worst and capture these illegals that the Biden administration had let terrorize our cities” and deport them.
Mullin said: “[Under] During the Biden administration, they were literally letting in 150,000 to 200,000, in cases, a week into the United States. They had files on many of these people because, quote, they were paroled into the United States because they were seeking asylum. …But, when they published them, we had names and files on them. Now when we start going looking for them, only about 5% of them [were] correct. We started cleaning out all the databases, we started going through all the public records, we started really determining who we were going to go after, and now when we go and file a warrant, we have over a 90% chance. [that] that individual will be there or will be in that place.”
He continued: “So now we are stepping up to go after the worst of the worst and return these illegals that the Biden administration had allowed to terrorize our cities and terrorize our streets to the country from which they came.”
