After four months without alcohol, I started my chapter “Soberish” in early March. He found himself without ceremonies as ended, without dramatic moment, just a quiet change. Since then, the leg is going well: a drink or two per week. The dinners now end with a glass of wine, a feat that I never thought of possible.

What has made this change feel manageable is knowing Because I want a drink when I do it, and find something else that gives me exactly what I was looking for. That part surprised me. Because I have noticed, not drinking is real easier than alone sometimes Drink. The gray are soft. And what I have learned in the Squish is this: what I want when I long for a drink is generally not alcohol. It is a time to relax. To relax. To savor something prepared with love.

Now, my favorite non -alcoholic beverages are basic foods in my house. Often high in the semi -man who wine. Going dry for four months taught me that the desire to drink was almost always a desire to treat me, soften the day and feel a little hero. And it turns out that I can do all that alcohol -yewood.

If you long for a cocktail, this is the best alternative I’ve found there! I drink during the Christmas holidays and I didn’t miss my promised martinis once I found them.

Oh, my other promised drink! I love all Ghia’s flavors, but my favorites are Sumac and Chile and Lima and Salt.

My friend Peder co -founded this after fire, and is a beautiful bottle worth dinner or special occasions. The main ingredient is pine tea (made of local white pine), is brave, fresh and perfect in warm weather.

A genuinely delicious beer. I like the other way around Dawn Golden and Free Wave Hazy IPA.

Recently I tried a sampling package of these artisanal beers of Minneapolis Na and I would strongly recommend to organize a party. There is something for everyone!

This is a solid light and a fresh bear that is sold on almost every day of thesis. It’s great with food and on a hot summer day.

I drink them when I long for water with gas; They are so good! I am not big with sweet drinks, so this terrious and faithful drink is a true spokesman of the thirst. It also feels special, which is really what I am looking for when I want a drink. Something that feels like a pleasure, a little break in the day to day.

8. Water of soda with bitter and lime

This is the drink that I mix for friends and family who does not like beer. It is also what I do for me when I want a drink after a long day and a posterior bear simply does not call me. I usually have all the ingredients by hand. Simply fill a glass with ice and soda water, add a board or two bitter and tighten the fresh lime juice to taste.
