Chris Eank JR Fold £ 375,000 after losing the weight limit for Saturday’s grudge with Conor Benn.

Chris Eubank Jr will receive 375,000 pounds ($ 500,000) after hitting the 14g (0.5 oz) scales more than the weight limit for the long -awaited Saturday fight with his partner Briton Conor Benn in the Hotspur Stadium in London.

Benn arrived lighter than expected at 71 kg (156.4 lb) with the limit for the medium weight fight of the 12 round ring magazine established at 72.57 kg (160 lb).

Eubank was 72,597 kg (160.05 lb) in the second attempt to weigh behind closed doors in a London hotel.

Both boxers have agreed a rehydration clause that prevents them from obtaining more than 4.54 kg (10 lb) between Friday’s weighing and a new check on Saturday morning.

The couple will be face to face in a ceremonial weighing later on Friday.

Eubank, 35, with a record of 34-3 and 25 knockouts, has previously fought in Super-Mid-Midle, while Benn, 28 years old and undefeated in 23 fights with 14 knockouts, has been mainly a welter weight, two classes down.

Eubanb is the medium -weight champion of IBO and has already been folding of 100,000 pounds ($ 133,000) by the British boxing control board for slapping Benn with an egg at a press conference in February.

The fight between the children of the former world champions and archirival Chris Eank SR and Nigel Benn was canceled in 2022, when Benn tested positive for small amounts of the clomiphene of the fertility medication.

The World Boxing Council cleared Benn of intentional doping in 2023, saying that a “very high egg consumption” was a reasonable explanation for failed tests.

The couple appeared together at a press conference on Thursday, with Eank talking about the pain of the death of their brother Sebastian and his difficult relationship with their father.

“These things are what pain is,” he said. “The weight cut, the rehydration clause, these are all things that are not a problem, which are not important.”

Eubank SR has called a circus and his son a “misfortune” for breaking the egg in Benn’s face.
