Prepare for the Brasov Running Festival from October 4 to 5 in Romania

Mass Runners and the best road athletes on the planet will once again meet in October for the Athletic elite label career of Brasov World. This year, the Trunsylvania International 10K launches its new sub-elite category.

The fifth edition of Brasov Running Festival will take place from October 4 to 5, gathering thousands of massive runners, road enthusiasts and elite athletes in an attempt to rewrite record books.

On Sunday, October 5, the Trunsylvania International 10K will see many of the fastest distance corridors in the world that fight for the rapid course of three laps in the urban regeneration project of Corei, near the historic center of the city of Brasov.

The elite fields for male and female races will be announced in the coming weeks, but the expectations are high given the incredible depth of the Brasov’s career, an event that was classified as the sixth most competitive road race of 2024 in world athletes

Nine of the ten best male finalists last year recorded the best personal results, while in the women’s race, ten athletes ended less than 31 minutes. The event remains the only world competition of athletics elite labels in southeastern Europe and continues to grow every year.

Own harvest talents and emerging international professionals now have the opportunity to run with elites through an request -based entry system. The race will open to athletes with recent performances of less than 32 minutes 19 seconds in men and 35 minutes 59 seconds in women. Applications can be sent to the organizers of the race through [email protected]. All applications will be evaluated and considered based on availability. Organizers can also sacrifice hospitality packages limited to subsidized costs.

Mass corridors can choose between distances or 5 km and 10 km, as well as a mixed 20 km course that combines off -road and road sections. Families can enjoy fun races, along with children’s races for all ages.

You can find more details of all the races of the Brasov Festival on the website of the event:
