The option of becoming nuclear is not in the letters at this time, Pakistan’s defense minister Khawaja Asif said on Saturday when the Indian and Pakistani military attacked the facilities of the other, increasing the confrontations already serious.
“At this time, the nuclear option is not in the cards. However, if the situation arises, the ‘observers’ will also be affected,” Asif told Geo News.
“I am telling the world that this is not going to be limited only to the region, it could be much broader … this destruction,” he said.
Asif said that no meeting of the National Command Authority has been calling.
The NCA is responsible for making operational decisions about Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.
Pakistan launched a new wave of drone attacks aimed at 26 locations in India, from Jammu and Kashmira to Gujarat, for the second night on Friday, with the Ministry of Defense of India, the enemy’s attempts, including the airport.
Pakistan on Saturday affirmed that his three air bases were attacked by Indian missiles and drones.
