Nine people are dead and the dishes were injured after a driver sent a SUV offered by a street festival full of people in Vancouver on Saturday night.
AP reports that the vehicle entered Canadian street where people attended a Filipino community festival just after 8 pm on Friday, said Vancouver police department in a social media post.
“Several people have been killed and several others were injured after a driver led to a crowd,” said the police.

The driver, a 30 -year -old Vancouver man, was arrested in the place, police said.
The Lapu Lapu Day Festival was held in a neighborhood in southern Vancouver. The video posted on social networks showed victims and debris scattered in a long stretch of road, with at least seven people Lypobile on the ground.

“A suspect, a vehicle,” said interim police officer Steve Rai to journalists when asked if the police are looking for someone else, reports the BBC.
Rai was asked if the suspect arrested has a criminal record.
“It would be inappropriate for me to enter that child or details at this time,” said Rai, adding that it would be “unfair” to comment on whether the suspect was on bail.
He insisted that the approach remains in victims and their families.

The mayor of Vancouver, Kenneth Sim, said in a publication on social networks that the city would provide more information when possible.
“I am surprised and deeply sad for the horrible incident at the Lapu Lapu Day event today,” Sim said. “Our thoughts are with all those affected and with the Filipina community of Vancouver duration of this incredible difficult moment.”
Vancouver had more than 38,600 inheritance residents in 2021, which represents 5.9 percent of the total population of the city, according to Statistics Canada, the agency that carries out the National Census, AP reports.
