The new Saints Campo Marshal is, relatively speaking, an old field marshal.

Nueva Orleans used its second round draft selection in Tyler Shegh from Louisville, whose Stock Draft increased after seven years of university football, generally in 40 in general for the highest draft selection of the Saints used in a quarterback from Archie Manning.

With the future of the veteran Derek Car Car insecure at best due to a shoulder injury, the 25 -year After three seasons in Oregon and Texas Tech.

To put his age in perspective: Shegh’s last name, his last name is pronounced “Shuck”, putting it online for a sponsorship agreement of the Oyster French Oyster house was a teammate of Oregon in 2019 or current at the end of the Saints. Shegh obtained his mastery in 2022, and now he will have the opportunity to take the reins of a new offensive of the Saints directed by the first year coach Kellen Moore.

The Shash selection is also remarkable for who the saints did not take: Shedeur Sanders of Colorado. He had projected by many analysts as a possible game for the New Orleans first round selection in the ninth in general. Sanders was not chosen in Thursday’s first round, watching the giants exchanged, but chose the Ole Miss Jaxson Dart field, and then the Saints were in another direction on Friday.

While he is the definition of a late Bloomer, Shegh won Scouts on this spring. It has a good size with 6 feet 5 and 220 pounds, and a strong and precise arm. It has exactly one year that Rattler, recruited last year, and is six months younger than Haener, who was recruited in 2023.

The Saints used their first round Thorsday selection at the Texas Kelvin Banks offensive Tackle, hoping that an improved offensive line facilitates life for whoever is the center of being beind. Nueva Orleans has an old draft still ahead, with two selections in the third and fourth rounds as a result of trade with the Marshon Lattimore corner.

New Orleans hopes to recover from a 5-12 record, the team’s sausage since 2006, which saw the Saints end up lasting in the south of the NFC. Shegh could have the opportunity to give them their first appearance in the playoffs since Drew Brees retired after the 2020 season.
