The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process, and will see PYBAR deliver approximately 20km of new underground development over four years, with the option to extend further.
Larvotto said the binding agreement represents an important step in the resumption of underground mining activities at Hillgrove, which will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Under the terms of the contract, PYBAR will provide lateral and slope development, rehabilitation, ground support installation and transportation services in the Metz, Garibaldi and Clarks Gully underground areas.
The company will deliver a full-service development solution, supplying equipment, staff and legal oversight under its health and safety management system.
