Hundreds of Southwest Airlines flights were delayed after technical problems that led the airline to temporarily stop their operations on Tuesday morning.

Southwest said that the flight delays were the result of “data connection problems resulting from a Firewall failure”, a problem that led to a detention of the letter.

The Federal Aviation Administration The Earth stop began at the request of the airlineCiting “team problems.” The floor stop soon got up, and in a Tweet at 11:35 am and southwest said He had resumed operations.

“Early this morning, a Firewall supplied by the supplier fell and the connection to some operational data was lost unexpected,” said spokesman Dan Landson in a statement.

Southwest had delayed 1,820 flights or 43% or its schedule axis or just after noon on Tuesday, FlightAware Chording. The airline has canceled only nine flights on Tuesday, according to FlightTAware. Southwest says his workers “worked quickly to minimize interruptions.”

Southwest reported technology problems on Tuesday morning and said “he hoped to resume our operation as soon as possible.”

The FAA in a statement told CNN that Southwest, “the FAA FAA requested the airline’s exits.”

The problems occur months after the airline was forced to cancel more than 16,700 flights between December 20 and 29, approximately half of its duration of the schedule in that period. The airline attributed the collapse partly to the changes in its personnel programming computer systems. Southwest last month announced an “action plan” to avoid another operational crisis.

Southwest described the last problem “intermittent technology problems” in a publication on social networks for customers. Several tok social networks to complain about delayed flights.

“We apologize for any inconvenience that this can cause, but we hope to make everyone work as soon as possible,” the airline wrote in another publication on social networks.

A mass -winter storm start began the duration of service problems in the holiday season, but the southwest had much longer to recover the bee or a programming system of the outdated crew that was quickly turned off, leaving the airline that could not locate it, I needed to need it, needed it necessary, I needed it, I needed to need to need it to need it to need it for needing to need it for needing to need it for needing to need it for needing to need it for needing to need it for needing to need it to need it. Some days, up to 75% of their scheduled flights were punished.

Part of what created worse problems in Southwest that in other airlines is that crew members had to call the airline, instead of notifying it electronically, to stop their availability.
