After running 3: 58.06 for sixth more than 1500m in the League of Diamonds of Paris on Friday, the Olympic bronze medalist declared that he is seriously considering the prioritization of the 800m in 2025
Georgia Hunter Bell has revealed that he is thinking of putting his approach to 800m during the 1500m of this season.
The British assured an Olympic bronze and European silver medal in the 1500 meters last summer and also established a British record of 3: 52.61 for Dry, a brand that put Bell 11 in the world list of all time.
Two thirds of Bell’s 18 outdoor competitions last season were at 1500m compared to five at 800m, and the other was more than 5000m.
Bell’s Run in the Paris Diamond League (June 20), occupied the sixth place with 3: 58.06, was the second outdoors of 1500m of this campaign, after the reduction of 4: 00.85 for the room at the meeting of the Grand Slam track in Philadelphia Lasth.
She entered Paris from the back of a victory in the 800m in the Stockholm Diamond League, coming from behind to claim the victory in 1: 57.66. The 31 -year -old suggests that she was humorous and shape to run much faster, with her best standing staff in 1: 56.28.

Talking with Aw In the French capital after his sixth place in the 1500m, Bell spoke through his thought process.
“I really think I prefer 800m right now,” he said. “I feel that I am ready to go out. I really wanted to do it the other day in Stockholm, but the race ended up very tactical. So I’m really excited to make a counterreloj in London.
“The pain is also much faster compared to 1500m because it begins to hurt around that 800 my mark then you still have a long way to go. These 1500m felt very hard for the weapon and the first day of the Grand Slam track. Difficult was also difficult.
“Paris was my second outdoors 1500m of the season and is a child or making me think ‘I want to look just focus on the 800m this season?’ I’ll go and chat with Jenny [Meadows] And Trevor [Painter]. “
If Hunter Bell decided to prioritize the 800M, then she will not have the training partners who specialize in the distance, with the most prominent name being the current Olympic champion of 800m Keely Hodgkinson.

Only Hodgkinson and Jemma Reekie (1: 55.61) ran faster than Hunter Bell approximately two laps last season, with the trio placing 1-2-3 in the London Diamond League.
“It was originally an 800m corridor and for that it was what it was to recognize,” added Hunter Bell. “Trev and Jen are also quite pure coaches of 800 m. Trev was absolutely buzzing in Rome last summer when I got a 1500m silver medal in the European championship, since it was the first important medal of 1500m that we obtained in the group!
“I executed the third global time faster at 800 m last year and I really believe that the 800m at the Olympic Games could be a possibility. I had run that 800m rating time [1:59.30] For evidence, so I am known for some time, there were many opportunities in the distance.
“From the Paris Olympic Games, much of the work I have done has a leg in the gym and that translates much better to 800m, where it is where I am a little stronger. I have done a lot gym.
“So we will wait and see. It’s a long season and there are still a lot of races to overcome before the world championship.”
