The cybersecurity giant Palo Alto Networks (Nasdaq: PANW) is in conversations to buy the Israeli cybersecurity company Cybark Software (Nasdaq: Cybr), the people familiar with the matter have taken “The Wall Street Journal”. Palo Alto Networks could end an agreement for Cybark, as soon as later this week, adds the financial newspaper of the United States. There was no response from companies.

Palo Alto Networks was founded in 2005 by the Israeli businessman Nir Zuk and today is one of the most valuable cybersecurity partners in the world, with a market capitalization of more than $ 130 billion and more than 11000 employees worldwide. If the agreement continues, this would be the largest acquisition of Palo Alto Network.
Cyberark was founded in Israel in 1999 by President Udi Mokadi. The company is considered one of the world’s leaders in identity safety and access management for sensitive systems (PAM).
The company’s actions have increased by more than 50% during the past year, partly due to the growing demand for advanced security solutions. At the same time, the CEO of Palo Alto, Nikesh Arora, referred last May to unify the cybernetic solutions: “This is exactly why the industry must change the paradigm, get away from the distributed landscape and move on to consolidation.”
The report reflects a continuous tendency of mergers and acquisitions in the cyber security industry, with Crowdstrike and Sentinelone companies, according to reports, which considers similar movements. However, at this stage, this is just a report, and the agreement has not yet approved the leg by the parties.
