Editor’s note: The following contains important spoilers about the fourth episode of “Scene” Fourth Season “, Honeymoon State”.

CNN
–

After the clash came the aftershocks, the power vacuum, and perhaps more significant and impressive, the laughs, as “succession,” turned to face life after Logan Roy, in an episode that finally puts the flower of the title of Hbo Shos in full.

The abrupt disappearance of Logan Roy left his adult and subordinated children who hurry, and each one apparently is humbly offered to fill the void, while worrying about how the various candidates would play with the company’s board.

At the same time, they cried the largest figure than the life they had lost, taking into account that he had treated many of them abysmally. And the fourth hour also marked the return of Logan’s wife, Marcia (Hiam Abbas), in what he felt as “Marcia went back”, while his current and very young girlfriend, Kerri (Zoe Winter), showed him without surrounding the door. (The letter evoked memories of the musical “Evita”, when the main character takes Perón’s lover, who sings on another suitcase in another room).

More than anything, the episode stressed how brutally fun it can be the “succession”, with Shiv (Sarah Snoak) reading her father’s obitarian and muse: “Dad sounds amazing.

The episode also showed Waystar Royco executives, who wondered uncomfortable what to do with a document that included not only Logan’s posthumous wishes but handwritten notes that apparently specified who wanted success. He joked, Flyfly, on throwing the paper into the toilet, while making it very clear how much they wanted to throw the paper into the toilet.

All knives came out, with Carl (David Rasche) brutally insulting Tom (Matthew Macfadyen), just hiding the fact that he was presenting doubts about Tom’s future as hypothetical.

Amid the fact that, however, there were also human moments, with the tortured Kendall articulating his conflicting feelings to the Waystar Frank executive (Peter Friedman) saying: “He made me hate him, and hey. I feel that I did not like” “” “” “” “” “” “”

The “succession” also stressed the fragility not only of life, but of a corporate legacy, with the people of public relations that discuss how to turn and reduce the participation of subsequent Logan as a meaans of the company and isaty-a maneaty-aaty-anty, dirty, concluding that it was the type of intelligence and intelligence that his father would have executed.

Succession questions also seem to be threatening the harmony achieved by Kendall, Shiv and Roman before Logan’s departure, and Shiv stays like the strange woman in a plan to occupy the CEO seat just the time enough to close the sale to GOJO. Trust is not easy in the world of the creator of the Jesse Armstrong series, and when Shiv said: “I need reading my peak”, the guarantees of his brothers clearly left the impression of ease with which this peak could end the articulation.

Finally, after the maximum operations of the previous episode, the successful series changed the page to grieve to the next business order. And that also, as Kendall expressed with respect to Logan and the public relations leaks of “bad dad”, is “what he would do.”
