In case you have lost it, United Airlines debuted in the new cabins that reach the new Jets Dreamline Boeing 787.
The experience of the cabin, called United Elevated, presents the Polaris Studio, a business class experience with more space on board and a flow of service and high land experience, including a caviar snack.
United is also presenting new Polaris pods with premium ladder and renewed doors and standard economic seats that should increase even more (without word game) their experience on a single board.
He thought that the first aircraft equipped with United Cabañas will not fly until the beginning of next year (from San Francisco to Singapore and then to London), the airline celebrated the presentation with an acquisition of a waroover.
Within the space, the CEO Scott Kirby and other main executives showed the striking new products for selected media and employees. As an experienced polaris traveler, I have been excited about this announcement for a long time, and here are my impressions of a few minutes trying each of the seats.
United Polaris Studio Impressions
The show star was undoubtedly the Polaris Studio Suite, a completely new cabin experience for United. This seat takes advantage of the location of the bulkhead and the curvature of the cabin to offer 25% more vital space than the traditional polar pod. There will be eight studies at 787-9 Dreamliner in a configuration of 1-2-1.
Once inside the capsule, you will notice that everything feels bigger, especially the huge 4K 2 -inch TV, the largest offered by any US airline. The Hootwell area is also large, with more space for your feet and an Ottoman for a friend to join your flight duration. Unfortunately, only six of the eight Polaris studies have seats of friends: those missing are 1D and 1F seats.
The Ottoman will have a seat belt so that someone can sit there while the plane is sailing.
That said, it might not be the most comfortable place to sit over prolonged periods of time, since there is not much space in the legs of two people.

The Polaris Studio also has a large tray table that my 11 -inch iPad Pro for the scale has. I did not have time to take action, but this must be one of the largest tray tables that fly in an American airline.
Next to the tray table there is a small closed storage compartment that should be excellent for vessels or wallets.
The seat itself felt supremely comfortable, since it was well towed with soft tauch fabric. I also found the design accents and combinations of invited colors without bee Bingy or Cheap.
Better yet, you can customize mood lighting in each seat with eight different color options. This feature was enabled in the models, but I am excited to play with it once the plane flies.
I briefly reclined the seat in a bed and discovered that it was also comfortable. The storage area of the tray table stands on the way to extend the legs freely, but it was unpleasant that any of the similar seats that are the days of flying thesis.
(United chose a highly personalized version of the Adient Ascent Seat for Polaris cabins, a seat used in other carriers such as American and Qatar).
The best part of the seat is that it is a great privacy thanks to a slip.
There was a small gap just when the door was completely closed, so I am not sure whether this was a problem with the preproduction seats model or simply a design option for the United product equipment.
United Polaris Impressions
Meanwhile, only studies are standard polaris pods. The new 787-9 Dreamliners will have 56 Polaris pods in a standard industry 1-2-1 configuration.
For the first time, United will sacrifice multiple arrangements or polar pods. In the commercial class cabin, the seats will face the hall. In the rear cabin of executive class, the seats will face the hall. The design of the letter must be preferred by the couples traveling together, and also allows United to offer the first double bed in the history of Polaris.
Both Polaris Center studies and regular polaris pods have a privacy divisor that can be lowered to bed level. Once the divisor is down and the doors are closed, you will enjoy a spacious double bed configuration that will facilitate staying close to your loved one through the flight.
United will even provide an additional mattress platform that is especially furred to go to the top of the privacy divisor.
In case you are wondering, you can’t play at your feet, since the standing waters are left separate for each passenger.
I demonstrated the double bed in the Polaris study, as well as Ben Mutzabauch and Clint Henderson of TPG. We all move away with the configuration. However, I imagine that the experience would feel narrower in a regular polaris capsule.
Speaking of feeling narrow, the standard polaris seat definitely felt a little stricter in relation to the existing product. I will mark this how to develop and reserve the trial until you try a long distance flight with these new seats.
The seats themselves were very comfortable, and had a reason for design similar to the Polaris study. I love the wooden grain finishes that United chose; It really adds an additional premium touch.
Some of the bells and whistles that you will find in Polaris include customizable humor lighting, small storage cabinets with mirrors, entertainment remote with trackpads, a CA exit, two USB-C ports and a Qi wireless load route.
While there are controls of digital and manual seats, United did not opt for a touch buttons, which means that you must keep the buttons pressed to move the seat.
Like Polaris Studios, the sliding doors in Polaris did not close all the time. The gap was not too much to be an annoying duration in the event, but I am sure it will be a remarkable duration for a flight.
United Premium plus impressions
The purple seats, as many Athenites from United Flight affectionately call them, also obtained an update. While the shell of the Premium Plus product remains unchanged, the airline made some reflexive updates.
On the one hand, they are no longer entirely black and purple, since they now have a mixture of color. They also have larger 4K televisions (and super crisp) with Bluetooth, repositioned exits, water bottles storage areas and a wireless load route.

The storage pocket contains a new well positioned headphones hook, and the new winged privacy divisors provide additional personal space.
In general, the Premium Plus product is certainly an update, he thought it is not as exciting as what is happening at the pointed end of the plane.
United economy impressions
Finally, you cannot forget the economic cabin, which will organize in a 3-3-3 design in 15 rows. In total, United will offer 33 extravagers economy plus seats and 90 standard economic seats.
Economic seats have not changed much. Perhaps the largest update that will notice immediately are 4K larger 13 -inch screens with Bluetooth support. The only update that will not see up the hall is the elimination of the entertainment box under the seats, that means that its leg space and its storage space do not deal with a difficult and amazing position box in the future.
End
In general, the new United Cabins promise to offer a better flight experience in all cabins.
The new Polaris studies are elegant and spacious, while the regular polaris seats also obtained some elegant updates. I am a little worried that polaris capsules are not as spacious as the existing product, as special the popular odd number window seats, but we will reserve the trial until these airplanes fly.
Anyway, the good news is that United is flexing its premium muscle with these new cabins, and the carrier promised even more improvements and cabin ads in the coming months.
