How to book the new Air New Zealand Dreamliner with points and miles
Air New Zealand Airpoints are difficult to get; It is much easier to reserve Air New Zealand awards seats through its Star Alliance partners. However, to find flights with this exact plane, it may be useful to start your search on the Air New Zealand website.
For example, in the renewed opening 787-9 it flies from Auckland Airport (AKL) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on May 19, the new luxury seats of the Prime Minister of Business are mentioned under the business class rate.
On the next page, you will have the option to update to the Luxury of the Prime Minister of Business. Or you can select these seats on the map of the seats later in the reserve process.

While the Prime Minister of Business and Prime Minister of Business are not without birds, with United Miles on the previous flight, an executive class award between the United States and New Zealand typically costs 110,000 miles (or 100,000 miles for United Pop United.
The same flight reserved through Air Canada Aeropan is an even better treatment, which costs only 50,000 points in the economy. In the same way, there is no prime minister of the Prime Minister of Business or the luxury of the Prime Minister of Business to reserve this flight through this partner, but in general, the business class refunds in other airplanes that fly this route have 75,000 airplane points.
With the cash rates for the same date from $ 992 in New Zealand ($ 589) of a road in economics, this comes to 0.98 cents per point softly low value for the airplane points, which are worth.
You can transfer credit card rewards to Aeroplan with a 1: 1 ratio of American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles and Chase Ultimate Rewards. You can transfer persecution points and bilt points to United, but it is better to transfer to Aeropan, since it offers better award rates in this case.
Another way to reserve the new Air New Zealand Dreamliner is with Singapore Airlines, which charges 66,000 Krisflyer miles (plus $ 42) for the seats of the Prize of a first leg and economy. (In the same way, there are no business class reimbursements available on this specific flight, but they can be found for 146,500 miles in other airplanes on this route).
This is not the cheapest way to fly in the new Air New Zealand Dreamliner, but it is a good option if it has a credit card rewards stash that can be transferred to Krisflyer, such as Amex Mex Membership Rewards Point.

End
Thanks to points and thousands, there are several ways to test the renewed Air New Zealand Dreamliner, and explore the land of the long white cloud, without breaking the bank. We recommend the Aeropan Reserve, where you can really obtain a regomunal value for your points in executive class.
The disadvantage is that, for now, the types of specialized seats such as the new Prime Minister of Business, Luxury and the economy, Skycouch do not seem to be reservable through the associated airlines. But we will see this space to see if awards are available and when.
