Men’s College Basketball 2025-2026 Undefeated Teams Tracker: Zona, Nebraska Stay Perfect

With conference play upon us, it’s fair to start wondering which of the undefeated men’s college basketball teams might actually be able to stay that way.

Here are the teams that have yet to log a loss in the 2025-26 season, as of Jan. 21, as well as some notable opponents that they have already taken care of and those still on the way.

The No. 1 team in the poll, Arizona remains undefeated despite facing off against ranked opponents Florida, UConn and Alabama and in six Quad 1 games total. The Wildcats face No. 11 BYU on Jan. 26, but they have West Virginia and Cincinnati before then — both of them top-100 teams by NET ranking — and UCF, the toughest of the bunch.

Nebraska has now played in five Quad 1 matchups to this point and has wins against Kansas State, Wisconsin and ranked Illinois. A narrow 58-56 win over No. 9 Michigan State made a statement for the Cornhuskers, and following that up with wins against Ohio State, Indiana and now Oregon and Northwestern kept them undefeated both in the Big Ten and overall.

Miami earned a second consecutive overtime victory on Tuesday, beating Kent State 107-101. The RedHawks are in a curious spot. They haven’t had a single Quad 1 matchup yet, but they’re also 8-0 on the road and have three Quad 2 wins under their belt. Miami won’t face a single ranked opponent all season, though. Akron and Bowling Green are both well-regarded by NET. (Miami itself is ranked 49th there.) Three of Miami’s 18 wins are against Division II opponents, but it has handled the Division I teams just fine, too.
