Pakistan has announced a series of diplomatic reprisal movements against India and demanded evidence to support the affirmations of the Indian government that Islamabad was involved in the Kashmir attack.

The rebel rebel killed at least 26 people on Tuesday in the picturesque tourist complex of Pahalgam in the deadliest attack in a quarter of a background administered by India. A statement issued on behalf of the Resistance Front (TRF), which is believed to be a branch of the Lashkar-E-TAIBA armed group based in Pakistani, the responsibility of the attack was attributed.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, promised in a speech on Thursday to hunt the Pahalgam gunmen to the “ends of the earth.” Nueva Delhi has also suspended the participation of India in a water exchange agreement and sealed its main terrestrial border with Pakistan, among other reprisal measures.

On Thursday, Pakistani Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif also stopped a channel irrigation project, one day after India retired from the swing of the Indo’s waters in a movement that has accumulated concern about Pakistan water supplies.

In a statement published by his office, Sharif said that, although Pakistan is concerned about the loss of tourists’ lives. [in Indian-administered Kashmir]”, The Committee reviewed the Indian measures announced on April 23, 2025 and called them unilateral, unfair, motivated political, extremely irresponsible and devoid of legal merit.”

“In the absence of any credible research and verifiable evidence, attempts to link Pahalgam’s attack with Pakistan are frivolous, devoid of rationality and logical defeat,” the statement added.

Pakistan’s Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, later, Al Jazeera, “refuto, strongly refute, the accusations level by the Indian government”, and add that the country “has no connection” with an armed group that operates in a backman administered by India.

Islamabad has also announced the imminent closure of the border with Wagah with India, but said it will remain open until April 30. All Indian citizens, excluding Sij pilgrims, were ordered to leave 48 hours.

Pakistan also suspended the visas issued to the Indians under the SAARC program, reduced the personnel of the High Commission of India in Islamabad and closed their airspace to all Indian airplanes, while all commercial activities with India were suspended.

In informing from Haripur in Pakistan, Kamal Hyder de Al Jazeera said it was a “response of OT”.

“All eyes will be in what India does below, because there is a quick response. He meets the leaders of his party in India, so it will be important,” he said.

“But Islamabad has not stung his words, saying that any military response will be reciprocally on the Pakistani side,” he added.

‘Please, don’t think that puppys are your enemies’

Pakistan and India claim Kashmir in their entirety, but administer separate parts.

On Thursday, the Police in India, Cashmiro, published sketches and announced a reward for information on three suspects that are believed to be behind Tuesday’s deadly attack.

A reward or 2 million Indian rupees (around $ 23,000) for any information that leads to their capture has been offered.

Police say that suspects are members of the Lashkar-E-Taiba group; They have a leg called Haashim Musa (also known as Sulaiman), Ali Bhai (also known as Talha Bhai) and Adil Hussain Thker.

It is believed that the police, Musa and Bhai are Pakistani citizens.

Thoker, also known as Adil Guree, is a resident of Kashmir, and the researchers have linked him to the attack based on the testimony of the wife of one of the victims.

A senior police officer told Al Jazeera that more than 1,500 people have been arrested for interrogating in relation to continuous investigation.

The region remains tense with greater security and the Oneanees extended throughout the region, two days after the Pahalgama attack.

But stores and companies begged reopening after a closure observed in protest yesterday.

Local commercial organizations and political leaders had asked for closing while they touched the streets to condemn the mortal assault.

“Everything seems gloomy. We don’t know what the future holds for this place,” said Mehraj Ahmad Malik, who sells dried fruits in the main city of Srinagar.

“Everything was full two days ago, and now there is fear and silence.”

The Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmira, Omar Abdullah, has expressed a deep sadness for the recent attack in Pahalgam, recognizing the loss of “25 guests who came here to enjoy their vacations” and praising the waste that “sacrificed their lives to people.

“The people of Kashmira came out and expressed the same thing: that they were not invented and that the attack was not for them,” Ani news of India told the news agency.

“Please, don’t think that puppy is your enemies; we are not guilty of that … we have also suffered during the last 35 years.”
