The low -cost airline Air of Hungaran, Wizz Air, will resume Israel’s flights on August 8, despite announcing that it would not reimburse Israel’s operations again until September. Wizz Air will gradually reintroduce Israel’s services, starting with Tel Aviv flights to Larnaca and Budapest.

The decision on the previous flight resumption was the tasks. It was called between the Minister of Transportation of Israel, Miri Regev and the CEO of Wizz Air, Joszef Varadi. Israel had expected an immediate flight resumption, but the airline caused the aircraft to have already pointed to other routes for this month. However, the Minister of Transportation said that Wizz Air was prepared to make changes at their schedule so that flights could be resumed next month.

The return of Wizz Air is an important news for the Israel aviation industry, and is expected to be significant to obtain the number of flights and allow greater competition that helps the lowest rates. This is a very popular carrier for the Israelis, in April 2025, the last month that the company operated completely in Israel, was the third most popular airport at the Ben Gurion airport after El E Israir with approximately 8% of the volume of passengers.

Yesterday, American carrier United Airlines announced that he will resume Flights from New York/Newark to Tel Aviv from July 21, 2025, with the resumption of a second daily flight scheduled for July 22. Tickets in United are available to buy.com.
