Meta plans to enter the stablecoin space later this year, pending integration with a third-party company to enable payments using dollar-pegged token technology, Coindesk’s Ian Allison reports, citing three people familiar with the plans. The tech giant aims to begin stablecoin integration early in the second half of 2026 and hopes to integrate a provider to help manage stablecoin-backed payments and implement a new wallet.
