Thoma Bravo confirms $2b acquisition of Verint

The American software investment firm Thoma Bravo announced today that it has concluded a definitive agreement to buy verint systems (NASDAQ: VRNT) in an cash agreement that reflects a business value of $ 2 billion. The transaction is subject to usual closure conditions, including the regulatory approach, and is expected to close before the current fiscal year of Venint, in early 2026.

Verint itself was split from the Israeli company Comverse Technology in 2013.

As reported by “Balloos”, Thoma Bravo is also examining the acquisition of the Israeli cyber security company Armis, with an assessment of $ 5 billion. In 2018, Thoma Bravo bought the Israeli Company of impervious cybersecurity for $ 2.1 billion, selling it five years later for $ 3.6 billion.
